生きていたら2010年10月1日で65歳になるDonny Hathaway。
tenor saxophonist、Kirk WhalumがDonny Hathawayのカバー
アルバムをリリースするとのこと。itunesで8/31リリース予定
なのでpre-orderしたっ。超楽しみ。
ゲストにLalah Hathaway, Musiq Soulchild, Rick Braun,
Jeff Golub, Robert Randolphらが参加♪♪
Lalah Hathaway Live at Motion Blue July 9th 2010
I’m glad that I made it to Lalah Hathaway’s live at
Motion Blue Yokohama. Her vocal is flawless as
always… !!!! 
My two gorgeous girl friends experienced
her live show for the first time and they said they enjoyed
it very much too. Maya even said ” wow…she is the best
vocalist I’ve ever heard live…!!” The way she said it was
cute but I knew she meant it seriously. We took pics there
so let me share them here… ♥
報告少し遅くなったけど・・・
行ってきました。Motion Blue YokohamaでのLalah Hathaway live。
Mayaちゃんはレイラ初体験。
東京のKoyomiちゃんも仕事の後に出てきてjoin。
今回は初めてレイラさんとプレイする日本人のミュージシャン
が２人参加していたこともあってか、深いグルーブのものや
スローな曲よりも、心地いいミッドテンポの曲を多くやっていた。
マイケル・ジャクソン・トリビュートを聴けたことや、会場に
フリューゲルホーンプレーヤーのTOKUさんが来場していて、
レイラさんが彼をステージへ呼び込み、サマータイムをプレイ
＆歌ってくれるシーンもあったことも楽しかった。
１曲ずつがあっという間でもっともっと聞きたかったけど
レイラさんの一声一声をまた堪能することができて感無量。
涙ガマンするのが大変だったわ。:-) 初めてライブ見たときは
ガマンできなくてひ〜ひ〜泣いてたけど今はだいぶガマン
できるようになった。lol
Mayaちゃんがライブ終了後に、
「今までライブで見たシンガーでいちばんうまいわ・・」
としみじみ言っていたのが嬉しかった。Koyomiちゃんは
レイラの歌にいろいろ助けられた思いがしたことがあった
って言ってた。レイラの歌はいろんな人の心に深〜く響いて
沁みる・・・沁みる・・・
もちろん私もレイラの歌声無しには考えられないことが
たくさんある・・・
あ〜自分の人生であと何回ぐらいレイラさんのライブに
行けるんやろうか・・・？？まだまだ何回も行きたいわ。
後ろにレイラさんのママが写っていた☆ラッキー。
She was with a vocalist Jason Morales. He was backing up
for her just amazingly… He harmonize with her so effortlessly…!!!!

I’m getting excited the day is getting close…! I’m going to see Lalah’s
show next week on July 9th at Motion Blue with my friends. It’s my first
time to see any show up there. Lalah’s show must be amazing as alwayz
and I know I’ll be struggling with my happy tears while I’m listening to
her vocal !!! 楽しみ〜♪♪
