My girl friend from college took me out to dinner tonight!
She says it’s for my late b-day treat. well, any day is fine
with me! lol ( Last year she took me to a sushi place. CLICK )

The place is called ” Yahantei ” and it’s in Daimyo area in
Fukuoka city. It’s a lil place like a hidout and you really
feel at home in there..

今夜は友達に、大名の『夜半亭』というお店に連れて行って
もらいました。知ってる？予約必須らしい。今度行ってみて。
どの料理もクリエイティブで、見て嬉しくそして美味しかった！

Everything they have on the menu are very creative..
You can’t imagine how they look like until they get served
on your table… I forgot to take a pic of their appetizer cuz
I was starving.. as usual.. but here are some pics I took after that..

Negitoro Carpaccio ネギトロカルパッチョ 美味しかった〜

Dashimaki ( Japanese omelette.. )これは卵がお出汁につかっていた〜

Satsuma Age ( fried fish cake.. get it? ) エビが入ってて美味しかった〜

Avocado Salad 食感がよくて美味しかった〜

Me and my best friend go to this kaiten Sushi restraunt often.
( you know the one with the moving table. you take whatever
you like to eat when it comes towards you. They say it
as ” Conveyor belt sushi ” or ” sushi-go-round ” on wikipedia )

今日は幼なじみのかおりちゃんとまた寿司大臣に行ってきました。
最近１週間に1度は行ってる？？！で、その後に５号線のスタバに。
和洋折衷です。

Green rolls with yam & Natto ( you know that stinkin spoiled beans
we eat ) I got to have their pickled ginger on the side…!! Love it!!!

大体私はまず高菜巻きを・・・

next I go with Ikura ( fish eggs ) .. then Spicey Tuna rolls..!
これらを食べる間にかなりのジンジャーを私は食べます。

and this soup is called Ara-Jiru…. They make this soup with
left body parts of fishes including bones when then make sushi.
I know I’m not explaining enough but the fact is.. it has so much
collagen in it and it’s good for your skin!!!

で、あら汁をいただいたら、大体お腹いっぱい・・・☆
あら汁は、かおりちゃんの真似してオーダーし始めて
ハマった一品。昔はこういうものは食べれなかった。

コラーゲンでお肌つるつるにな〜れ〜

サイズは小さくしておいた。ばれるかな。
