#1014 Jean-Michel Basquiat: The Radiant Child ( movie trailer )

Check out the trailer of the documentary Jean-Michel Basquiat:
The Radiant Child, directed by friend Tamra Davis, which features
never-before seen footage of the ARTIST painting and talking
about his art two years before his death in 1988 and sets the
record straight following Julian Schnabel’s fictional BASQUIAT.

The film, which was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize
at Sundance last month, was released February 21 and
will be shown at SXSW next month.

友人であるTamra Davisによって1986年に撮られた、バスキア本人の
貴重なインタビュー映像が収録されたドキュメンタリーフィルムが公開
され、先月のサンダンス映画祭ではGrand Jury賞を受賞したんだって。

1996年にJeffrey Wright様主演で製作された彼の自伝映画
BASQUIAで語られなかった部分っていうところも見れるのかな、、、
ぜひ見たい１本。
